Home Modifications:
Most older adults would prefer to remain in their own homes for the rest of their lives. You can help your customers achieve that goal. Physical limitations often force older people out of their homes when sensible remodeling could preserve a cherished way of life. This course teaches you the relevant codes and standards, depicts common barriers, and demonstrates how to redesign living areas for safety and comfort.
As a graduate of this course, you will:
Assess the home modification needs of older adult homeowners
Recommend and provide a variety of options for clients current and future requirements
Secure future business with a long-term plan for property adaptation
Establish a client base for referrals
