Fast Built House

FAST BUILT HOUSE
On September 18 and 19, the annual Fast Built house will be under construction at 2409 Corlot Street in Kalamazoo. For 17 years, Kalamazoo Valley Habitat for Humanity and the Home Builders Association of Greater Kalamazoo have worked in partnership with a local family to build this Fast Built home. Our unique partnership gives our association the opportunity to give back to the community and demonstrate our commitment to affordable housing. After 16 years, what could make the Fast Built more challenging or exciting? This year, the 17th Fast Built is part of Habitat for Humanity’s Home Builder Blitz 2008, a national initiative to involve the entire industry in a Habitat home project. As far as we know, ours is the only Fast Built home! Interested in getting involved? Click here for information about sponsoring the 2008 Fast Built House. You can HELP BUILD IT! Here’s how you can help:
- Donate services or labor or provide them at cost
- Donate materials, supplies or equipment rental
