Fast Built Home
For 18 years, Kalamazoo Valley Habitat for Humanity and the Home Builders Association of Greater Kalamazoo have worked in partnership with a local family to build the annual Fast Built house. On September 17 and 18, volunteer members of the Home Builders Association of Greater Kalamazoo will join hands with Kalamazoo Valley Habitat for Humanity to build the 18th Fast Built house. Construction will begin at 7:00 a.m. on the 18th and continue around the clock until the home is complete and a certificate of occupancy is signed by the city building inspectors.
More than 300 volunteers will join the Habitat home buyer family in this exciting project!
This year’s event will be located at 804 Fenimore on September 17, 2009.
