The HBAGK worked with the Kalamazoo County Road Commission (KCRC) and other local organizations to improve the Procedures, Guidelines and Specifications for Developing Public Roads within Kalamazoo County, Michigan. The KCRC now allows cul-de-sacs, boulevards and narrower streets with the township's approval. The HBAGK feels that these features are an improvement to the quality for our communities, as they are safer, allow for more creativity, protect trees and add to the natural beauty of the surroundings.
