A 1980s ranch home has undergone a remarkable transformation to accommodate a family’s changing needs and functions. The new cherry kitchen includes stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, and opens to a dining room with a fireplace and a cathedral ceiling in the family room. The exterior was transformed to be more maintenance-free with cement plank siding, wood clad exterior and triple pane windows; 2-foot over- hangs were added to enhance energy efficiency.
