Home Builders Association Announces Final Endorsements for 2010 Elections

KALAMAZOO – The Home Builders Association of Greater Kalamazoo (HBAGK) has announced their final list of endorsements for the 2010 elections.

“We are excited to announce our support for these candidates,” said Craig Wenke, HBAGK President.  “We look forward to working with these individuals on important issues facing the building industry in Michigan.”

“These candidates have an understanding of the unique issues facing Michigan and our country,” said Dale Shugars, HBAGK Executive Vice President.  “They exemplify the leadership qualities needed to address such issues.”

The HBAGK encourages constituents to vote for these candidates on August 3 in the Primary Election and again on November 2 in the General Election.  The endorsements are based on the candidates’ responses to questions concerning issues critical to the building industry.  HBAGK endorsed candidates are also selected because of their passion for improving the local, state, and national economy.

As part of the mission “Building Homes, Strengthening Communities”, the HBAGK works toward strengthening the housing industry and business environment through quality and affordable housing initiatives and advocacy, promoting consumer choice in housing and the creation of jobs.
