2024 HBA Board of Directors Election

In accordance with our By-laws, the HBA of Western Michigan annual election of Directors will take place at the General Membership Meeting on November 19th, 2019 at the WMU Fetzer Center. 

The Nominating and Leadership Committee presents the following nominees for the 2024 HBA of Western Michigan Board of Directors Election.  There are four positions to be filled for which there are eight nominees (in alphabetical order by last name):
 

  • Luke Albrecht:  Associate Member, Local Gutters

  • Anders Bergh:  Associate Member, Prudential Financial

  • Dawn Bradley:  Associate Member, Devon Title

  • Ryan Conley:  Associate Member, Rhino's Plumbing

  • Vicki Gesmundo:  Builder Member, AVB

  • Dan Hoeksema:  Builder Member, Hoeksema Builders LLB

  • Kevin Osborne:  Builder Member, Osborne Construction & Maintenance LLC

  • Jason Scheffers:  Builder Member, Vandam & Krusinga

Bylaws require at least 1 Builder member be elected this year to maintain mandated board member ratios.  The builder member with the most votes among builder members will be deemed elected in such case as a builder member does not finish high enough in the final tally.  

Members may vote in one of two ways:

​

  1. In person at the November 19th General Membership Meeting (click here to register to attend) or,
     

  2. Via absentee e-ballot.  To vote via absentee e-ballot, please click here.

Absentee e-ballots must be cast by 5pm on Monday, November 18th, 2019.  If you vote by Absentee Ballot, you will not be able to vote in person at the General Membership Meeting. In the event of a tie, all member firms in attendance at the GMM are eligible to vote in any tie breaking vote.

Please note:  no matter which method you choose to vote, each member company is entitled to one ballot vote.
